No rain, no strong wind, the track was almost dry and it was not cold. Unsurprisingly, the British driver Sean Babington (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) took control of the DD2 Prefinal ahead of the Belgian Xen De Ruwe (ART GP – ART GP Team), followed by the Spanish driver Oriol Dalmau Caballero (Tony Kart – Motor Club Deportivo Creixell) who was quick to take 2nd place. The Briton Henry Easthope (Sodi – Sodi) passed the Swedish driver Andreas Backman (Tony Kart – Strawberry Racing) for 4th place, but he regained his place. In 6th position, the French driver Anthony Abbasse (Sodi – Sodi) continued to rise. In 8th, the Franco-British Florent Lambert (Tony Kart – Racing Tatum) was in the lead of DD2 Masters ahead of Franck Rouxel (Sodi – Sodi), 12th, and William Berteaux (Birel – Kartagene) 14th. Babington escaped from Dalmau and De Ruwe who were very close, and the Belgian attacked on lap 3. On lap 7 Easthope, Abbasse and the Dane Michael E Christiansen (Tony Kart – RS Competition) passed Backman. Abbasse took the opportunity to gain 4th place from Easthope. Meanwhile, Berteaux was in 13th and in second position in DD2 Masters ahead of Rouxel. For the finish Babington was almost 4” ahead of De Ruwe. Dalmau was 3rd, Abbasse 4th, Christiansen 5th, Easthope 6th.
